Chromium Copper

Chromium copper is an alloy material that combines high strength and high conductivity at both room and high temperatures. It is primarily composed of a copper matrix with added chromium, and some grades also contain trace elements such as zirconium and magnesium. After aging treatment, its conductivity and hardness are significantly improved, and its softening temperature can reach over 475℃. Due to its excellent wear resistance, explosion resistance, and thermal stability, chromium copper is widely used in resistance welding electrodes, mold manufacturing, electrical discharge machining, and electrical conductive components, making it one of the preferred alternatives to high-cost materials such as beryllium copper.
